Newton: Mark Littman, MA, LPC, NCC, 952 Mt. Benevolence Rd., Newton, NJ 07860, 973-300-5338. The death of a beloved pet can be devestating. When even words of sorrow and understanding expressed by well-meaning friends and family don't help, it might be time to seek counseling. I have worked with many people who are experiencing what you are going through and have gone through it myself numerous times. Sometimes only a few sessions are enough to help ease the pain but, of course, it might take longer. And because there is no time frame for grief, I have a reduced fee for those who see me for loss of a pet. [Offers phone counseling.]

Princeton/South Brunswick: Sandra Grossman, Ph.D, Certified Pet Loss Specialist. Losing a beloved pet is one of the most painful experiences we can go through. After experiencing the heartache of losing my own beloved pet and learning the tools necessary to heal, I wanted to help others in
their journey toward healing. It's important to know you're not alone.
Healing begins to happen by working through the grief and in doing so the
pain lessens and you are able to remember your beloved pets with the loving
memories you shared together. Call for a free consultation to begin the
healing process. Sandra's experience includes working with individuals and
groups, and sessions are available in-person, by telephone or Skype.
